Retraction and Correction Policy

The Macedonian Journal of Anaesthesia (MJA) is committed to maintaining the integrity and          accuracy of the scientific record.

Corrections (Errata / Corrigenda)
Minor errors that do not affect the conclusions of the article may be corrected by publishing an erratum or corrigendum.

Retractions
Articles may be retracted in cases of:

  • Proven research misconduct (fabrication, falsification, plagiarism)

  • Unethical research practices

  • Serious authorship disputes

  • Duplicate or redundant publication

  • Major errors that invalidate the main conclusions

Retraction notices clearly state the reason for retraction and are permanently linked to the              original article.

MJA follows the COPE Retraction Guidelines when investigating and deciding on corrections and retractions.
