Archiving & Digital Preservation

ARCHIVING POLICY

The Macedonian Journal of Anaesthesia is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content.

The journal uses  Open Journal Systems (OJS), developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), for the management and publication of its content.

All published articles remain openly accessible on the official journal website in PDF format.

To ensure long-term digital preservation, the journal implements the following measures:

• Institutional archiving by the Macedonian Society of Anaesthesia and Critical Care Medicine

• Regular server and database backups of the journal platform and published content;

• Institutional archiving and preservation managed by the Macedonian Society of Anaesthesia and Critical Care Medicine;

• Deposit and preservation of published content in the National and University Library repository;

• Permanent online access through OJS

In the event of technical failure or loss of website access, reasonable efforts will be made to restore access to published content from backup systems and institutional or library archives.

The journal is committed to preserving the integrity, accessibility, and continuity of its scholarly record over time.
