Open Access and Licensing Policy
The Macedonian Journal of Anaesthesia (MJA) is an open-access journal.
All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication and can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, and reused without subscription or access charges.
All articles published in MJA are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the source (MJA), a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

Licensing information is displayed on all published articles in both HTML and PDF formats, together with copyright information.
Authors retain copyright of their work.
Authors are permitted to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other repositories, provided that proper citation to the original publication in the Macedonian Journal of Anaesthesia is included.
The license applies only to the article content. The journal website design, layout, and branding are not covered by the Creative Commons license.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
Authors submitting manuscripts to MJA are required to pay an article processing charge of 50 EUR, payable in Macedonian denars (MKD) according to the official exchange rate at the time of payment.
The APC is charged only after manuscript acceptance and does not influence the editorial decision or peer review process in any way.
There are no fees for readers to access, read, or download published articles.
