Authors publishing in the Macedonian Journal of Anaesthesia (MJA) retain copyright of their work.

The copyright holder for all published articles is clearly indicated on each article (HTML and PDF versions) as “© The Author(s)” or the individual author(s), as applicable.

By submitting a manuscript and accepting publication, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the article in all formats and media.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the source (MJA), a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated.

Authors are permitted to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other repositories, provided that proper citation to the original publication in the Macedonian Journal of Anaesthesia is included.

The journal website content (layout, design, and branding) is separate from the copyright of published articles and is not covered by the article license.
